We are proud of the unique programs we offer to reward exceptional performance and a commitment to our trilogy of care. Our quarterly We Are Here celebrations award $1,000 in vacation expenses to randomly selected teammates throughout the village who have had no unplanned absences during a selected 90-day period. 

Our Triple Crown Profit Sharing program allows eligible teammates to enjoy the rewards of the Villages' overall profitability in addition to special components that recognize exceptional teams and individual contributors.

  • Tuition Reimbursement– up to $3,000 per year for eligible tuition and book expenses

 

  • RN Scholarship Program – provides current teammates up to $5,000 per year reimbursement for eligible tuition, books, and some fees, while attending nursing school and working for DaVita 
     
  • RN New Grad Program - provides current teammates up to $5,000 of reimbursement for tuition and books per year of nursing school (maximum 3 years) for eligible expenses the teammate incurred while attending nursing school.  The teammate must be a recent nursing school graduate (within last 24 months), have passed the RN Boards, and completed 6 months of employment with DaVita before applying
     
  • The Redwoods (MBA) Scholarship Program – helps advance the leadership potential of our leaders by providing scholarships to cover the costs of earning an MBA degree or attending a series of general management courses
     
  • Certification Expenses - reimbursement for various certification exams (pre-exam course, exam costs and exam renewals if required by DaVita).

  • KT Family Foundation - Foundation funded by DaVita CEO Kent Thiry and others to provide scholarships to be used for educational expenses, for selected children and grandchildren of our teammates who are in grades 6-11.  KT, his wife, Denise, and close friends privately fund this Foundation, and awards range from $1,000 - $3,000
     
  • DaVita Children’s Foundation - DaVita funded foundation that provides college scholarships for selected children and grandchildren of our teammates

Paid Time Off (PTO)

  • As a full-time or part-time teammate working a minimum of 24 hours per week, you begin to accrue PTO on the first day of employment or rehire (PTO may be used after 90 days of employment)
  • As a previous DaVita teammate, you may be eligible for reinstatement to your prior PTO accrual rate

 

Short and Long Term Disability Insurance

  • Pays 60% of your weekly salary (up to $1,000/week) for Short Term disability - with option to increase up to 75%
  • Pays 40% of your monthly salary (up to $10,000/month) for Long Term disability - with option to increase up to 60%
  • Provided to all full time teammates at no cost - optional election for full time benefit eligible exempt teammates

 

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

  • Five free sessions with a face-to-face counselor per incident
  • Assistance with issues related to child and elder care, adoption, education and more
  • Informational items on mental health or substance abuse issues 
  • Provides legal and financial consultation services
